Drivers seat creaking

Has anyone had a problem with creaking from the drivers seat as you turn corners? Mine makes a clicking sound most times when i turn corners.

Any advice appreciated.

I had exactly the same symptoms, I got a new seat base under warranty. Despite the new seat base, my creak did return after about three months. I think I've solved it again, the plastic piece that runs down the door side of the seat had moved somehow and just needed to be pushed back into place.

Normally difficult to nail down the exact source, does this happen when a heavier of lighter person drives -sounds daft but it may narrow down the areas a bit. -

and as a silly suggestion if that does effect it, and you can't find the source, it's either more or less pies for you.

Had problems with most of the seats at one time or another, and kept blaming it on the Mother In Law - local stealer confirmed though that it wasnt her, and was down to the mountings working slightly slack (the seats not hers! Laughing Laughing )

The seats weren't loose, just needed re tightening to remove the movement.

Got a slight problem with my drivers seat. Is it easy to tighten up the mountings? and what do you need to sort them out.

Cheers.

Marshalls did it for me under warranty. Didnt seem to be a big job (they had it sorted in 10 mins), it took them longer to wash the car than cure the creaks (bloody good dealer - they wash your car for you whenever you go in!!)
