Drivers door trim hanging off, any knowledable people about?

Trim hanging off as I have just closed my drivers door and my briefcase caught the bottom trim, its snapped it off at the door on the trailing edge and doesnt appear to pop back on, it looks like a slide on clip.
Cant see that anything is broken can I just pull it off all the way and slide snap it back in place Question

There are some pictures in my gallery showing the pieces. http://www.disco3.co.uk/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=21851

The part in the door, that it snaps into probably kept the metal clips. The clips can be fitted back onto the plastic and snapped back into the slots. One picture shows the picture of the slots without the metal clips. You have to be extremely careful not the let the clips drop through the hold when retrieving them. If you do, you will need a small telescopic magnet, and you will have to snap that secondary cover up, and pry it up enough to fish out the clips.

Hopefully this is the part you are referring too. There are about 7 pictures, which you can click on to zoom in for a much higher detail picture.
