My drivers door electric lock is on the way out. ( not
The manually operated door handle)
I can lock the door using the FOB, but over the last 2 weeks its not reliable when unlocking
The drivers side door, all other doors are fine.
It appears to only work on cold mornings!!!'
I can hear the unlocking solenoid working, but something is not engaging to allow me
To manually unlock the door.
The lock latch appears to only come out 80% of
The distance?
I have Manually tried to pull the lock latch and press the unlock switch, but this is unsuccessful.
I have read a few other threads and I am none the wiser about what's is failing.
I don't really want to pull The inside door panel off until I have ordered replacement parts or have a fix to the problem.
Any tips would be appreciated

Door lock assembly is definitely on the way out. It's a common problem. LR072413 is the current part number I believe.
