Went and checked that straight away. No, not that.
I actually don't think it is the actuator because this appears to be the opposite issue to one that a failing actuator would cause. In my case it is not that the unlocking of the driver door cannot be triggered but that the opening of the driver's door won't unlock the other doors. My instinct is that it's a fault in the "instruction" that door sends to the central locking to unlock all the other doors.
All this is just me guessing though, as I'm not familiar with the electrical systems. Might see if I can find some clues on it in the maintenance manual or wiring diagram.
