Have what sounds like a bearing noise from 35-55mph then it blends with road noise, a wowowowowow. Not loud, just appears under load in 4th (Manual trans).
Checked all wheel bearings, all feel okay, no play.
New rear prop fitted after reading a few threads on a likely cause.
Any checks I can do to try and locate it, it's putting me off using it.

If it's only in fourth gear that the noise is heard then it's likely a gear box issue. Firstly, check for wet areas around the gearbox and transfer box, if it's wet you have likely found the cause of the problem. Next drain the gearbox to see if it's below the specified amount, then renew it.
Do the same with the transfer box and see if things improve. If the oil levels have been allowed to fall or degrade to an unacceptable level excessive wear can occur. And, as it's a "Black Box" unit it means there are limited parts available to repair it.
So a bearing issue will be a specialist only repair if at all! A used unit from a breaker might be a better bet if damage has occurred. yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

Thanks for the reply, I've noticed it'll do it in all gears. Had a good look for any wet spots on the trans, and it was fluid serviced in June along with transfer box and diffs.
I can stick a used gearbox in, but I'm not certain it's the trans, gut feeling is either transfer box or one of the wheel bearings, but they don't have play that I can find??05' TDV6 2.7 manual

Your original post suggested it was a 4th gear issue but if it's in all gears the source could be anywhere in the drive system, and unlikely to be the gearbox unless it's had a very hard life. (Heavy towing)
It could be diff? You could drain them and see if there's any metal shards present. A small amount of very fine metal dust on the magnet is normal, anything substantial would be a cause for concern. Open the filler port before you attempt to open the drains. If the oil is good and recently changed (year or two) you can reuse it as it has a long life span.
