dpf regeneration
Anybody see their dpf regenerate, when mine does it clouds of smoke behind the car, please any comments on this
Mine is D4 2013 model

I hear a change in the exhaust tone and sometimes smell a hot / burning smell from outside the car after stopping but I never see smoke.

I haven't noticed anything other than a really long heat tick down from time to time. I've only done 13,700 miles since new (DEC10) and it seems to regenerate just fine when I so longer journeys. Most of my journeys include a 10 mile blast on the M1 and I try to keep below 2,500 - 3,000 rpm when cold2010 MX-5 2.0 Sport Tech PRHT
