DPF Filter

Hi, My 2013 Discovery 4 that I have had from new has just failed on me. I'm told by the garage that has looked after it from new (not a main dealer) that the DPF filter is blocked and despite sending it away to specialist cleaners it cannot be unblocked so I am facing buying a new one.
Does anyone have experience (good or bad) of the various aftermarket ones that are out there?
Second question I had a Viezu remap for fuel economy a couple of years ago. Could this have contributed to the blocked DPF?
Thanks for any input

A slightly off-topic thought - I trust you declared the remap to your insurers.
