Hi,
new here so be gentle !
Thanks to white van man i need to replace my drivers door mirror (glass & complete mirror housing). got the parts just looking for some advice on removing & replacing, specifically with regards to the trim removal on the door. The speaker cover behind the mirror mounting screws pops of a clip at the top, but appears to be connected somehow to the door card ? does it just need a pull or does the door card need to come off. If so whats the way to do this.

Welcome to the site 
Speeker ( tweeter ) grill is attached to the whole door panel .
So door panel needs to come off ..quite easy ...have a look here http://www.disco3.co.uk/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=749
There are some pics near the bottom which shows were the screws are located . Once you have undone the screws ..pull the door panel off from the bottom first ...then it will just unclip from door
