Hi
Newbie here, recently picked up my disco 3 and i have a bent upper drivers door hinge - previous owner caught in a gale or similar and top of the door sits slightly proud which also results in wind noise. i'm going to remove it to straighten and wanted to check (sounds like a daft question) - if i undo the hinge retaining bolts on a-pillar and door, is there a threaded plate behind that's liable to slip away on removing bolts and then having to remove trim etc to retrieve it or is it retained in place.

Nothing will slip/fall away behind the A pillar as the nuts are welded
