2 new front tyres then MOT . Pass with no advisories. Then up to Mike in Dundee on Wednesday for service and belts changed. 14 years old and still going strong. Pity there’s really no place to go.Once you have defeated the idiots any job is half done. Pity there are so many idiots to defeat.

Removed the original style side steps on my 2010 d4. Off side was rusty and the rear bracket had sheared so decided to completely remove both side.
Absolute pig of a job, plenty of WD40 and rusty bolts snapping on the brackets. All done now thanks to a very good thread i found on here.
Really impressed it’s the extra power it’s so smooth 😎🏴😂

Mot and major service done on Dennis today. Failed mot only on faulty rear fog light (I shoulda checked!) all fixed and retest in the morning.
Also treated him to a new key case, ordered off Amazon, feels good quality and solid, accepted the existing key blade and only took 5 minutes to swap over.
You don’t realise how bad your old key is until you get a new one 2008 HSE Stornoway Grey

Hi Andy,
It was this one, just had to file a small shave off my existing blade for it to fit in the new hinge as I’m too cheap to get a fresh one cut from the blank that comes with it
