Spent ages removing dead bugs from the windscreen after a run up the A9 to Grantown. By the look of the weather forecast this will be a daily chore. 2014 MY Discovery XS Indus Silver. Sadly gone. Second last LR of forty eight years continuous ownership.

Did the front brake pads and sensor Casual 5 hour job . A ballache at every turn, including a stuck caliper piston.
Previous prestigious LR dealership that did the brakes must have forgotten to fit the brake disc retaining screw, another reason I wouldn't trust my car with a main dealer.
In fairness, the disc retaining screw isn’t required.
Maybe not imperative, but poor practice not to fit these screws, like the people in garages that re use old sump drain plug washers that are crushed to ........not what you expect of anyone worth their salt D3 owned from new, P017 brake recall, BAS FBHIC, new FBH, LR013487 oil pump, new water pump. Stripped various bits off it as it is being part-exchanged for a different brand. So very sad to see it go, but needs must I’m afraid.

the worst is that to continue with spare parts of the LR brand you must be willing to spend triple your money, that is really sadlost in translation!

Handed it to my specialist for it's weeks holiday.
Will come back with new injector, 6 new glow plugs, full belts and pumps change, new power steering pump, 4 new air struts, rebuilt diff and new arbs, plus a check on what's causing the low coolant warning.
He's going to have fun with it.
Question. Have LED front indicators with resisters fitted when i had the lights detango'd.
Picked up new D4.5 rear lights for a good price, will i need resisters in them as well?

Hi everyone!
Just had my EGR blanked with the TDV6 Terrafirma Kit and MAP sensor cleaned.
It was the 2nd (and last!) set of these infamous EGR's soon to be faulty!
