if the dog is partial to chewing be careful of the exposed 6 and 7th seatbelt webbing.
I lost one side to a hungry pup.

I lost one side to a hungry pup.
THIS MAY BE AN ISSUE WITH MY CORSO PUP.... IS THERE ANYWAY OF PROTECTING IT? WOULD THE HATCHBAG COVER IT?

no idea, dont think so as the belt runs up the rear pilar
I removed the good belt and it now sits behind the plastic trim, will be brought out and reattached for MOT purposes.
I dont use the seats in the boot so not a problem for me

Cargo guards come up for sale every so often at a reasonable price - think I paid £80 for mine, new they are around £300!
Hatchbag doesn't cover the rear belts high up, so I'd either remove them or possibly look at a dog box if your hound cant be trusted! 2014 D4 XS

Cage or crate wasn't an option for me as I've an 11 year lab who can be trusted in the boot, he wouldn't be too chuffed to be stuck in a cage after all these years.
The pup is learning not to chew

Hi
Funny enough candy always goes on the back seat , use one of the universal seat belt clips attached to her harness , to prevent her coming off the seat when I brake

I lost two sets of seat belts to a Hungary dog so got a couple of small lengths of plastic piping, as used with gutters, and slit them along theit length. No problems afterwards. I left them in place as the belts were very slightly chewed and at MOT time I just put some empty boxes the cargo area so the belts could not be inspected.

We have a special Discovery 4 Lintran Box (they are local to us and make them for all makes of car) The build quality is really sturdy but they weigh very little. My Black lab and two boarder terriers have never been a problem in it. There is loads of space for long journeys and over night trips.
