In the Dog House - again!

SWMBO was in a clothes shop today. She went up to the cash desk, I belatedly followed and another cashier asked me if she could help? I said no thanks and pointed to SWMBO and the cashier said, “oh, you’re together?”

Without thinking, I said, “Only until Christmas.” The Cashiers and I laughed. SWMBO didn’t and boy did I catch it when we were out of the shop. I am really in the Dog House. Rolling Eyes

I should learn, but I don’t. I recall going through customs at Glasgow Airport and one of the Security Guys pointed at my young daughter trailing some way behind and asked me if she was mine. I replied that I wasn’t sure! The guy looking looked at a shocked SWMBO and said, “you’re going to have an interesting holiday.” It was, she didn’t speak to me for two days! Rolling Eyes

I'm getting a Deja vu feeling … or was it just a faux pas ? https://disco4.com/forum/faux-pas-173820.html?highlight=Faux+pas

Part of being married it seems: broken TV I call it; picture but no sound as punishment Rolling with laughter

And they have the memory of an elephant when it comes to these things, they will bring our faux pas back up a long time after we have forgotten.

Thats why I framed out / insulated / boarded the upstairs of my garage, makes a great dog house. Still need a big TV, fridge and a pool table to make it perfect Thumbs Up

Oh, their memories are my enemy and their ability to beat you about the head with something and nothing.

The Rayburn went on the blink yesterday and all I got was, if you don’t want my mother to visit, just say so, don’t Censored up the heating. Like as if it’s my fault. Anyway, it’s back working, but no doubt the smell of Kerosene will upset her when she gets in from a hard shift at the hospital! Rolling Eyes

Just accept everything is your fault. A famine is reported in some African country, it’s deffo your fault. It’s our roll in life. Whistle

Oh, the resistance is futile thinking Del? You’d think after 20 years they would mellow, but not one bit. Better back to making her dinner. Big Cry
