Apparently he has the rims as we knew, but the centres are proving a little problem. Due to the low volumes they are proving costly at the moment. We are going to chat again soon.
I get the imprssion that if we ordered 10 sets it would be done tomorrow.

Just spoken to Gazzer at Nene, has his doubts about delivery of the wheels. Promisses have been broken apparently. Gazzers on the case for some wheels now. He has two sets of Coopers in for you and I at a stonkingly good price. God are they going to throw stones.
Sounds great, just need something to fit them to now!The End

If I knew what a 'right price' was then I might well be intrested - though bit lost at the moment where I'd store them when not on the vehicle.
Those mentioned by PCH work out at £251 per wheel and tyre for those they'd bought.
I guess one way to put it into context is to compare it against the wheel price (not real price) from the LR Dealer for a repacement to the wheels I've got. That way I'd know what I was risking and the investment involved, and could then compare it with the cost of buying a second set. Coffeecup

Coffeecup we are only talking about off road and cost effective. They have to be EU approved and capable of travelling from home to the venue and back. MTR's are too noisy for normal use with such a quiet car.

What I meant was.. If I continued to use the standard wheels and tyres on our off-road days, there is a chance that wheel and/or tyre could be damaged and need replacing. Therefore for me, I would balance the cost of having to buy exactly the same from LR to return the vehicle to 'as standard' against the investment in buying a second set of wheels - with appropriate tyres that could get me to/from the event and round the event on the day.
I'm not intending to progress my vehicle from where it is now to something that has all the G4 accessories, but might well consider spending some money on interchangable things like wheels/tyres to basicly protect the investment in the D3 as a standard car, whilst giving me some benefits over the current full-road flavoured equipment.
Is that a bit clearer, or should I just sink back into the mud and wait to be pulled out Coffeecup

I'm sure Vince reckoned they had put MT on a D3 and it didn't make much difference to the car's off road performance - or was I dreaming it DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone
