Hi.
Wondering if anyone can help me, I have a 2012 discovery 4 and the drivers door switch wont open or close any of the windows. I have tried a new switch which did not fix the problem, I have tried a new control unit and found once that was plugged in the vehicle would not even lock. If the vehicle is operated via a diagnostics I can operate the motor via actuators off the diagnostic however unable to get them to work off the drivers door panel. Seat memory button and wing mirror controls wont work either.
Do the control units need to be coded after fitting for anything to work on them?
Has anyone had this issue before and how did they resolve it?

Sound like wiring loom issues rathere than anything else
Check for look damage under the card and all
