Discovery 4 Bonnet stuck assistance

Hi There

First post on this forum, good to be here. I know this information is not publicly available on the forum due to security concerns but my Discovery failed its MOT today due to the bonnet not being able to open. I've pushed and pulled and banged and nothing seems to help.

Is it within the forum rules if someone with the appropriate knowledge could PM me and offer some assistance?

Much appreciated if so, thanks.

We've had a recent discussion about this very subject ... but as you've just joined don't take it personally but I doubt anyone will pm you unless they know you.

HOWEVER... Google is your friend on this. I found the method discussed and including the bit I didn't know on another forum.

Have a look !

Thanks for the reply, it’s appreciated. Yes I did think of the irony of my first post being how to break into a car!

I will do more in-depth checks on google. The only thing is that most info seems to be relating to the 3. Are the 3 and the 4 relatively similar in the solution?
