Discovery 4 2012 sdv6 heated front screen.

Hi everyone I have discovery 4 2012 sdv6 in general the car is really good and better than my d3.
The problem I have only the NS of the windscreen demists, before I go to my fitter to find out what’s wrong I wanted to see if anyone has any idea of what’s wrong.
The demist is half way across the screen no lines dmisting.

Many thanks
Colin.

No idea but if you try and make the title of the post about your issue, you might have a little more luck. 🤔

I’d suspect the elements in the screen, also suspect it’s not a Pilkington Optikool.

The windscreen has heating elements within the screen and there is a switch to turn on the front windscreen de-frost/mist. However it also triggers automatically when temp below a certain range 5 degrees from memory.
So first question is are you talking about the heated front screen only clearing half.

If so the screen is fused in two halves, drives side and passengers side so I would start by looking at the fuses. Cant remember the fuse numbers but they are the small square shape that dont look like a normal fuse and are located in the fuse box under the bonnet
