Depends what you call local. The Lakes or North Wales have loads of lanes for all levels. The Old Coach Road in The Lakes is a nice easy lane with stunning views. This was the last time I went in the D4 with a mate.

There’s a few members around these parts who go out on a regular basis. Best thing is to tag along on one or two of them

On the D3 I went up behind the A pillar trim then out onto the roof and along to the spots.
On the D4 I went out behind the rear light, there is a grommet to go through, then up to the roof and along the rack to the front light.
