Discovery 3 Continental Headlights for left hand drive

Good Morning,

Not sure if this of any interest to those of you that cross the channel regularly, but these came up in my Gumtree search feed this morning.

https://www.gumtree.com/p/car-replacement-...1306159887

I'm in no way associated with the Gumtree seller, but thought i'd post the detail as they may be of interest to someone on the forum.

if I've broken any forum rules or posted in the wrong place let me know & i'll amend the detail.

Cheers Nick Thumbs Up

But isn’t there a “switch” on the headlamp unit to convert them to left hand drive for Europe?

Not in all D3 lights, certainly not on my S halogens or SE xenons. Adaptive xenons only ISTR. I’ve done many, many tens of thousands of miles sur l’continent and never been flashed once, including loads of time in hudrigirdie mode in (and to) Scandinavia.

I agree! and I attest that he does not either, I've done hundreds of miles throughout the GB and Ireland without modifying my headlights, they're just bixenon, and without putting stickers and I've never never received a flash for it!! Thumbs Up
