Disconnecting ATF cooler lines on D4

I'm planning to do my own flush of the D4 Auto Transmission next week, and have located the ATF cooler next to the front axle...

The bottom 2 smaller connections are the transmission fluid , which look like the should be quick release. Can anyone confirm if it needs a special tool to disconnect them from the cooler, or can it be released by hand?
