Well that was an expensive day....

Went to Bearmach and bought

Silicone hose set
Water pump
Rear prop shaft
Rear anti roll bar bushes.
All gaskets, studs, nuts and brackets for crossover pipe
All gaskets etc for all the other bits.

Came home and spoke to AF and ordered
Timing belt kit, front and rear
Oil pump
Front anti roll bar kit complete
Rear and front drop links
Rrs upper rear arms inc bolt kit.

Then went on eBay and ordered
Full stainless braided brake hose set
Timing locking kit

Also managed to get the old cross over off, those nuts fought to the bitter end. There was no way they would come off with the body on.

Might have done that Saturday night.... can’t really remember. Hence the lack of anything constructive Sunday. Unless you class sleep as constructive. Rolling with laughter

Lol.
I had a good look at those brake pipes earlier. That’s a long run with lots of bends ! Going to be a challenge ! I’ll take a load of photos tomorrow for you. Found my flaring tool but couldn’t find the bender.
Also I’ve realised how much light is blocked out having the body up. Laughing

Crossover pipe nuts that didn’t want to play...

You might not be too wide of the mark actually. Dad was potching about with 2 strip lights earlier, the ones with covers and some pre plugged flexes. He was on about magnets and things. He’s a lateral thinker is dad. H was saying they can be “stuck” under the car or on the ramp legs etc. I think it’s a bloody good idea. Just wish he would hurry up and get them done. Laughing trying to cut a bit apart with a dremel flex shaft with a face shield on and holding a torch wasn’t the best of experiences. Rolling with laughter

Rolling with laughter Thumbs Up

That’s uncanny then , Laughing , or there’s always some bungees to hold the lights up Whistle

Tell u what , u saying about the dremel , used mine also with the flexi and made getting the drop links out a lot easier , was easy changing the small discs with there twist locking system

Also been pondering about the other wishbone i will undoubtably have to cut off, I may have a cunning plan and no use of heat involved , but will req buying another tool Whistle , if it works should take 30 x mins to get them off , time will tell though

Famous last words

Yeah dremel is a fab tool ! If your patient. I have an angled air die grinder which is far faster.

Oh pray tell what’s the cunning plan ? I’m going to “just try undoing the bolts” on those rear arms tomorrow “just to see” lol. Thumbs Up
