disco4 rear diff

hi all, just wondering if any you guys know how to confirm you have the rear diff lock aswell as the centre diff. When I ordered my disco 4 hse sdv6 i did not specifie rear diff lock, however today i was playing with the 4x4 info on the screen in the car and it is displaying a green rear diff logo aswell as the centre. I wondered if they all do this or whether land rover have made a mistake (which I won't be complaining about) and fitted my car with the rear diff free of charge. Any knowledge or advice on this subject would be great.cheers.p BRING ON THE SNOW Very Happy

They all come with a rear diff....

But pedantics aside, I assume you mean rear locking diff?
On the display, it will show all the diffs, it will only turn red when it is locked and I suspect that the rear diff green symbol won't turn red for yoiu, but the centre diff will if start to get stuck off road Thumbs Up

Make use of the snow (once it has reached you - plenty here already Very Happy ) to loose traction - try the different T-R settings until you find one that helps create more wheelspin (the opposite of what you normally want!) and you'll soon see the padlock turn red as the e-diff (if fitted) locks in. AFAIK, they all show a green padlock but only the rear e-diff spec'd cars change colour Shocked
