Disco3 45k service £438.65 - value?
My Disco3 will be 3yrs old in Jan'11 and is booked in for a service next week with Guy Salmon Thames Ditton ahead of the warranty expiring. She has 24k miles on her and I've been told that I need a 45k service + MoT. They are charging £438.65 inc VAT and £30 for the MoT. How does this compare to anyone else's experience? Should I be specifically asking them to check anything mechanical?

That's not bad including the MOT ...Guava Guildford wanted £418 (including disco3.co.uk discount), and Lancaster Reading £495 for my 2nd service, which GSTD did for a great price for me last week. Top service from the team there as always 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Jeremy dont you mean 30K service?
Mine is almost an identical age I had TFC do my full 30k service, £306+vodka and tonic.
Also got a few helpful pointers on what to get replaced before the waranty runs out as well
Mind you if I offset the number of cuppas he needed to keep him thawed out I probably just broke even

No, 45k. They did the 30k last year and it was bloody expensive hence my concern.

Jeremy you're obviously a low mileage man like myself it does seem extortionate, I have no idea what TFC charges for the 45k only one way to find out but he seemed happy to come into the big smoke.
Good luck!
