Disco 4 V8 vibration on acceleration

I have a 2011 Disco 4 V8 Automatic with approximately 98,000ks (60,000 miles) on the clock.
It has an irritating high frequency vibration when accelerating from rest at about 1500/2000 rpm which I can feel through the steering wheel and hear as a sort of muffled rumbling noise. It reduces/goes away if I feather the throttle.

Apparently this is a common issue but not easily resolved. Some research revealed that a damper was fitted as an after market solution. The local agents have checked all the obvious problem areas - CV joints, wheel bearings, air suspension bushes, steering system, engine mounts etc. and all are apparently ok.
Can anybody offer some advice?

Well, I would call those “regular maintenance items” not “problem items”.
But without a stethoscope on the running engine?? How can anyone be helpful.

Pump for power steering? Have you had those fluids changed? Idler pulley? Or merely an out of balance or aligned tire? The list to too great without a proper investigative procedure.

Disco 4 Vibration

The car has just had a full service and all brake discs/pads and steering fluids were changed. I think I will just have to wait until the noise/vibration becomes louder so that its source will be more easily detectable. Hope nothing breaks on the way!
