I think Shrinks is referring to the many that appear here with issues, get advice and then leave us
But you will stay and help us into the light away from this dark corner of the internet won't you ?
If the mods think that a subject requires a thread of its own. Or if there are two threads on the same subject they can be merged into one thread.

My List of issues. If you can help let me know.
1. Map dvd read error on sat nav still a problem. Screen goes blank for as long as 10 mins sometimes.
The vehicle requires an upgrade on the sat nav system whilst the fault is present. To overwrite the software is this practical for you when the problem is apparent. This is still a problem and it is happening more often.
2. Bluetooth does not work with the half a dozen mobiles i have tested it with, including a blackberry 8310, nokia 6230, samsung d600, sony p910, iphone 3g, motorola v3 and v3i.
Not fitted to this vehicle. I believe a parrot system was fitted in its place. the microphone needs to be re-positioned as per original instructions. Ipod connection does not always work. the ipod has to be disconnected then reconnected for it to work, which is impossible to do if driving.
3. car pulls to the left, please check balance and tracking.
Rear Lower Knuckle bushes replaced and 4 wheel alignment carried out. the car still pulls to the left, the steering wheel sits slightly to the left
4. small tear on side of drivers seat. still to be repaired
Mark Please update me on this
5. cant seem to get the wing mirrors to fold in, there is a logo on the mirror button but i cant get them to work.
Their was a backed out pin in the wiring harness at the mirrors, this was repaired. repaired
6. body trim on front passenger wing has come loose plus the body trim on the bottom of the front passenger door seems to be loose or hanging lower than all the other doors.
New door trims were fitted. repaired
7. There seems to be a squeaking from the rear suspension when pulling away from a stationary position or traveling at low speeds.
Related to lower knuckle bushes as above. the car seems to squeak even more than previously. The squeaking can be so loud people stop me to tell me.
8. battery code replacement, L3B6T4. ACTIONED.
No Action required repaired
9. Heated jet washers do not seem to heat. it took 45 minutes the other morning to get any liquid out of them all though the drivers side did defrost but didn't give any fluid until after 45 min journey.
The washer jets are heated but the reservois and pump are not, the jets are heating up when we tested and working OK, I suggest the screenwash in the reservois may have been frozen ok
10. there is a really bad doggy smell from the rear seats, the boot and front are fine. i have put air freshener in but do you have anything stronger.
Mark please update what is happening with this. ok
11. New battery has been fitted but i still get an hdc warning error in cold mornings, as i start the car there is a click from underneath the car at the drivers side.
We could not recreate this problem and no fault codes were present, we did recalibrate the modules on the vehicle and this may help. all faults seem to have cleared
12. poor mpg, took the car to up to Inverary but could not get any more than 25.6 mpg out of it. Is this normal? i have checked with the Alan and Jo Halliday and a couple of other friends and they seem to averaging 29 to 31mpg whilst driving short school and shopping trips.
Reprogramming the modules may help, also is the customer resetting the trip on the vehicle to allow for fuel reading to be accurate. i still can't get more than 26 mpg even after a 170 mile trip to the lake district. tried the car with cruise control on the way down and sitting at 65 mph on the way back without cruise control.
13. The emergency door lock cover on the front passenger door has broken clips. Colin Bell from Landrover Recovery has pushed it back on after he had to access the lock when he was last out. Could you see if it requires a replacement just in case it falls off
Door clip was secured. ok
14. Electric front sunroof does not work
This would not be related to the mirrors as it is a separate circuit we would need to investigate. the electric sunroof did work when i first collected the car on christmas eve. since getting the car back after getting the parrot system fitted there seems to be no power going to the sunroof.
15. I have just notice that the bracket covers for the central cubby box hinges are missing. Can these be replaced please.
