can anyone tell me if there is a process to change the battery on this model
is it relatively easy to do or do you need specialist tools or Iid scanner
i dont want to mess up
also whats the best recommended battery NOT from a main dealer
hope you can help

There is a process you need to open the bonnet and shut all the other doors and leave the car for twenty minutes for the ecu's to go to sleep. If you look through the window at the dash the park brake light will go out when the ecus are asleep.
You can then disconnect the battery, when the battery is removed touch both battery leads together. This will remove any power from the systems known as a hard reset.
when refitting you need to make sure the terminals go staight on you dont want them to spark too much or you can spike an ecu.
It would also pay to check the terminal connectors behind and under the battery to check you have no corrosion which can cause future problems.
