Disco 3 transmission adaptation reset YES or NO |
|
Hi all
Had a problem with juddering transmission recently and i did a flush as well as changing filter on the transmission on a disco 3 2.7tdv6 year 2007 . Has run 295 000 km, ive read many split opinions about doing transmission adaptation reset after changing filter and doing a flush. Anyone has experience with thos and should the reset be done or i should leave it as it is. (90% of the judder has dissapeared after 200 km of driving ) i did add 2 dr.tranny in the new oil.

I don’t think you will gain anything.
It will just shift badly for 2-3 days

As Pete as said above it wont change anything only relearning you're driving style, resetting it will not get rid of any judder.

Don't unless you have replaced solenoids etc in the valve body.
