Disco 3 side steps

Hello could anybody possible recommend somewhere i can get a set of side steps for my disco3. I bought some off ebay and i went to fit them today and the are absolutely shocking. One of the steps had 2 welds snapped and 4 rivets popped out and it was bent the other had loose rivets and the alloy had rust spots! These were supposed to be brand new in the box oem. I have asked to send them back for a refund so i am on the hunt for some more. There seems to be a couple of people selling them on a popular auction site. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated

Tell me about it. 255 pounds i paid. They have even got l/r stickers with part nos but you can tell they are copies and are very poor quality. Thanks For replying

Funnily enough I was just looking at D3 side steps on said auction site as you posted. Was trying to work out how LR steps could be £240!

"If it looks too good to be true" etc etc.

Guess I'll save up for the real thing - hope no-one door dings me before I get them!

Hello paulhsetdv6,
I like you purchased OEM side steps . I totally agree about the quality of OEM parts. Not good. You get what you pay for. I will pay the extra and purchase genuine parts. At least if you purchase from your local dealer then there should be no problem with returning the parts and you get the warranty. Nick (TLO) from Yeovil Land Rover I am sure would offer you a fair price.
