Disco 3 ride height calibration

Hi all
My disco is ridding a little high and I need it resetting, the rears are around 502mm instead of the 485

Can anyone recommend anywhere near Tamworth to have this done

Thank

Deffinately get yourself an Autel, not just for this but it’s the must have for the glove box Smile I’m only down the road and can probably do it for you but wouldn’t be till next weekend

Hey both
Thank you for the reply’s….. for that price it’s definitely worth buying one…. I always thought you had to spend hundreds to buy a reader for calibrating the suspension…
Is it easy to do with the Autel ?

It’s like everything else on the D3, can be easy, depends what day of the week and whether the car woke up happy Smile. You mainly need a flat parking space and a good ruler Smile

Have a read of a couple of posts on here

Tbh, they’re a no brainer, if nothing else a garage will charge you £40 / £60 for a code scan so it pays for itself, and there’s always something you need to check.

They’ll do the suspension, steering, code new keys and a few other service items, so more than a code reader.

Well, the new reader was ordered and it was delivered today, and like all guys with a new toy, I was straight outside after work and seeing what magic we could perform…
After a couple of calibration attempts, the reader came up with calibration success….. woo hoo

Well, it was a short success as when I started the engine, the red warning light came on the dash board (it’s never been there before). Error code c1A00-54

I’m hoping another re calibration will work, if not then I’ve screwed up proper.

Somehow you need to tell the car (with the tool) that calibration is complete and to reactivate normal mode.

This is what the red light means.

Don’t know how on the autel. Just be sure to do the whole process and don’t finish early Laughing

That code is set if the vehicle is in 'tight tolerance mode' - the calibration is there, but overridden.
I have no idea how the Autel accesses TTM, clearly it does somehow, you 'just' need to get it back into normal mode.

Hi all,
So, got home, plugged in and played…. Ttm, appeared to be on, managed to get that into normal mode and calibrated the height with success !! Thank you for the advise

I pulled up outside my house and measured and it still seems higher than the 485 on the rear, but I’ll give it a few weeks and try again.
Driving her does seem better, not as wollowy as before so that’s a real bonus

One more calibration should fix it. Measure at least twice before accepting. Bounce the car a couple of times as well then remeasure.
