The 'o' rings and clip come together as a kit anyway

The plastic basket is ok
I was thinking I could just replace the o-rings as I have many different kits with many sizes already in my Worksop rather than ordering the kit if it isn’t the clip it’s self that’s the problem.
Pete.IID, webasto software and workshop facility's available.

Hi All
Any suggestions about getting to the front circlip? From above or below?
And what has to be removed to get access?
Best wishes
Glen

I've just done a clutch on mine, and I think the only way to get to the front clip is from underneath. I think you'll have to drop the cross member, and lower the gearbox as far as it will go. Even then it might be tricky.Richard

I have the same problem as the O.P. but he never did post an outcome.
I think it might be wear in the plastic basket at the bottom of the lever but the only solution I can find is a new lever and linkage from Rimmers at nearly £300 + VAT. Does anyone know if the basket is available separately?

i don't know if it would be this but i had the same issue - i found that the weight/damper that is clamped to the wider metal part of the gear stick just inside the upright area of the gaitor had come lose and slipped down. when i undid the grub screw in the weight and moved it up if seemed to make it feel a lot less sloppy. again it may not be what your issue is but it is something i found so i don't know if it is that? - if it has slipped down you will be able to see where it was originally clamped up by marks on the shaft where the grubscrew would have been tighened up against.
