Disco 3 Diff drain plug confusion
Hi, my front and rear drain plugs look like this but replacement seem to be TYB500060 for the front, TYB500110 for the rear which look alot smaller,
54 Disco 3, standard diff
any advice appreciated, thanks.

TYB50060 is the correct filler plug for both front and rear diffs on D3 and D4 yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

The two pictures are the same, should one be front and one be rear. But like Prof says they are the same, at least on mine they are.

The fill plug for both front and rear diffs is TYB500060.
Front diff drain plug is TYB500080
Rear diff drain plug is TYB5001102007 D3 TDV6 XS - GONE

My diff drain plugs are definitely larger than the ones quoted, here you can see them together, old large and smaller ones! I have had to reuse the old ones.

Yes they aren’t right and the small ones look like fill plugs.

No, 60 is the fill with no magnet, 110 is the drain.
This is a picture of the 110 that everything says should be my drain ( smaller one) along side the one I actually have... Much larger.

I changed my front diff, old diff had the big plug, replacement diff had the small plug.
Edit: you dont need a new plug, just clean the thread with a wire brush, and give it 2 or 3 turns of PTFE tape before you put it back in. Richard
