Disco 3 air suspension problem
Hello Guys and Disco lovers!
Recently I have suspension problems. At first not wanting to raise and the amber light I cured with a new 60 amp fuse. After that my epb was stuck and I had to jack up the car and stayed jacked for some days ( about 4-5). Thanks to this forum, Disco Mickey and his thread about fixing the epb I was done with the epb. Unfortunately when I lowered the car, it was down on its pads and after start I got the amber again.
I checked all the fuses I know about, 3 at the engine and 1 at the compartment. I tried to short circuit the air compressor relay to get a bit of air, as was proposed in another thread here, but nothing happened.
Do You guys, have an idea what to check or to do to get the Disco to normal operation?

When you bypassed the relay
Did you hear the compressor run ?

Nope, engine running, not a sound from the compressor Before the change of the 60 Amp fuse, there was sound from it for a sec or two and if the car was lowered it was getting a bit higher.
Now there is no sound at all
I am using Android car scanner app, and am getting these errorsIf U are not on the edge, U are takin too much space.

Hm!! if you pulled the relay and then jumper the two large slots you should hear the compressor run (assuming ignition is in position 2), if it does not then the 60 amp fuse is blown or not making a connection. LR changed that fuse to a 70 amp fuse later on. So I would start with the fuse, if good (look for burnt connections) use a multi meter and see if there is voltage on one of the large slots. If there is voltage then problem is at the compressor. If not, then somewhere around fuse holder is faulty.

this is what I was wondering about! The 60 Amp fuse is the last before the compressor.
Will check and will report If U are not on the edge, U are takin too much space.

So, I got 15 Volts at the relay, on input and on output, changed the 60Amp fuse, nothing.
I guess, that next is to connect a car battery directly to the compressor and see if its working.
Is it possible to work and just to stop?
I had the copressor changed less than 2 years. I have the old one, the man in the servise said that the temperature sensor was bad, telling the compressor not to work. Is there such thing, can I make tests with the old one?If U are not on the edge, U are takin too much space.

yes connect a battery direct to the compressor and see if it runs.
Also check the chaffing of thick wires under the rear of the car (to compressor), or lumps in the insulation where the copper may have failed inside
