Disco 3 2005 bad clonking front drivers side.

Hi can anyone help. Drivers side front has been clonking really bad everytime I go over a bump big or little. Took it to my LR specialist that said it was the anti roll bar bushells. Changed these plus drivers side link bar at a cost of £145, clonking not cured. I complained and they took the car back and changed the passenger side link rod and charged me only parts another £50 even though I told them it only happens on the drivers side. Clonking not gone. They said there is slight play in the lower suspension but they investigated and said the play was very minimal and they don't really need to do anything as the clonking has eased up and should only happen when hitting a big pot hole. Rubbish still happening all the time and £200 quid later I am still none the wiser as to what the problem is. Also they told me that the gear box is really noisy and probably on its way out. £2740 for new one. is this likely? Any help greatly appreciated as have spent out so much over the last year and always seems to be another problem round the corner.

Got it from a dealer up North in Newcastle. Love my car but had nothing but trouble from it since we got it, spent over £5000 in the last year with repairs. Just getting fed up with it not running properly for more than 5 mins. Booked it in with Landrover today to see if they can sort problems out.
