|
My discovery 3 veer to the right on any surface when i put my steeringwheel dead stright, anyone experincing this issue, I have sent it back 7 times to Land rover dealer but are unable to fix it or find out what is causing it to do that, they have changed the air compressor 4 times thinking that this will fix it, anyone with the same issue, my car is right hand drive ...UK spec
They have told me that they have put the car on Optiflex ..whatever that mean ... and a Land rover field engineer came down from the Factory and told me that they will need to change the compressor again... I am knd of fedup with them...

Have they done a 'proper' alignment check?
A few owners have had problems in that area. Zermatt silver 06 reg.
Gone but not forgotten !!!

I had same problem, only to the left. Tell your dealer to recheck the geometry. All 4 wheels have to be checked. Mine was somewhat out. I recall earlier posts on this subject.

I haven't had this problem with the D3 but I had similar trouble with my previous VW Caravelle after the wheel bearings had been replaced. The alignment hadn't been set properly. The trouble soon ruined a set of tyres , so I would suggest you have that checked quickly, as has already been mentioned.

Land rover have agreed to replace my tyres and have done so and also they have replaced the compressor once again, but still having the problem, I have also explained that it must be the alignment, but they adviosed me that they have done that too. so this leave me no option but to take legal action aginst them.
