That NZ D3 that met a Toyota had both front airbags blown and there was no mention of a passenger. Confused
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

2006 D3 finally swapped for a 2016 D4 Graphite in Graphite grey. No mods

no switch and if factory fitted, illegal to remove or modify and you cannot do things like a lift kit if airbags are fitted.

Maybe I am wrong then... but I'm pretty sure the airbags are tied to the seat occupancy sensors. Maybe the force of the collision had them both go off ?

Just Googled "Lift Kit"
It would seem that body lifts are illegal for vehicles with SRS airbags but suspension lifts are ok with engineers cert.
