Digital Service History

When my Mercedes is serviced by the excellent local Mercedes Indy, Prestige Car Service ,they access the MB digital service history & record the service that they have undertaken - just as if they were an authorised MB service centre.

They provide a copy of the full service history, on request, with their invoice

Am I right in thinking that LR Indys can access the JLR database & update service records in a similar manner?

Access to OSH updates has to be approved by JLR first, but yes, most indys can do this Thumbs Up My D3 Build Thread

Hello,
Could someone explain to me how an Indy gets access to update the OSH.

My Indy here in Luxembourg has never done it, and JLR customer care just told me to contact the LR Dealer who are worse than crap, so I certainly don't want to do that!!
