Same around here. Most places now are 99.9p litre. I would imagine the motorways are more, but I haven't travelled on one for nearly two weeks.Matt

Locally on the Isle of Wight the price of diesel seems to be going up every week at the moment, is this national?
I think so. Much in the news about it and Five Live were running a fetaure on fuel prices this morning. Typical blame points being:
* Uncertainty over Iran and the USA ( )
* Refining capacity (USA) reduced due to Hurricane
* Seasonal peak for fuel in the US means they're buying from Europe which causes the prices to rise.
I heard we're looking at Diesel braking the £1 / litre this year for the average but not quite for PetrolD3 HSE V8...

Me too!
On the diesel price front - http://www.petrolprices.com/ tell me I can get it at 93.9p from Esso Express in Bramhall - one for Gareth or Adam there.Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)
93.9p seems to be the cheapest around here too at the mo, from Shell or EssoThe End

From my experience, the one to avoid is Texaco .... those RIP OFF B***ARDS always seem to charge the most no matter where the location ... boycott them at all costs !!!!
At least Shell & Esso seem to be keeping prices at a more resonable level (if that's possible in this RIP OFF country !!!)
