Dealer replaced the Integrated bluetooth audio module and echo is gone.
They carried out a image processingmodule (IPMB) calibration file update and the reversing camera came on quicker.

Not happy, spoke to the dealer. Told them that the problem was still occurring but different and even though it has happened with two seperate phones, their answer is that I have to have the phone software upgraded to the latest version (jellybean or icecream sandwich) but my provider has my phone on gingerbread and specifies there are no upgrades available.

Is this just my dealer copping out?

(What is it about these stupid software names?)

Did they put in a report to LR technical They will approve a fix. If it is happening on all phones then a new module will be needed.
If it is on their on line list of supported phones then they need to fix it.

Well its 10 months later, the software updated a second time and two more phones. The dealer was saying my phone was not the exact model in the compatibility list so now have a 4th phone which is the exact model lsted as compatible with the exact software version listed as compatible but Black Hole mode remains. Its about 1 call in four where mid call black hole activates.

At least I now know to explain to the caller why I'm ending the call, even if I cant hear their response.

Back in the hands of LRA. They say there are no more software upgrades, I've told them I want the module replaced.

Update
Feedback now with 3 different makes/models of phone, spat the dummy last week and software was updated which seems to have cured the problem although radio now won't save stations on FM when ignition cycled. DAB seems ok so new radio module being fitted on Tuesday.
Fingers crossed.
