As the Landy is getting older small niggles is creeping in…
In short its basically it’s time for a diagnostics tool.

I bought a Hawkeye latest version from LR CENTRE LIVERPOOL , got it couriered here by DHL.
Price R 2823.16 ,last year Jun at R 11.44 to the Pound
Bought some other stuff (snorkel,blanking kit)to the value of R 5511.16 , got charged extra R 800.00 for TAX and courier
Much cheaper then quoted by Landyparts in DBN.

For what I use it for am very happy.
it gives me life data of the whole vehicle.
Read faults, reset.
Reset service intervals.
Even lock and unlock suspension for alignment.
Can release brake pads for easier replacement.
I don't know, but surely it cant do updates for the ECU,maybe only the dealers but you can keep it updated on any new version that released by the manufacturers.
I can do any D3 , 4.0 V6, 4.4 V8 AND TDV6, later maybe if I get a D4 I will purchase the D4 unlock code.
for the layman , i think it's great
