Hi,
I am new here, just got a 2006 Disco3 HSE TDV6.
I am looking for a diagnostics tool i can hook up to a PC. I need some info and advice here. Which system is recommended, and which system is best buy. I am more or less fixing everything myself on my cars, but i am new to LR's....... 
I have seen the products from Blackbox Solutions, the MSV-2 looks nice, but it's a bit expensive.
I have a few VW's and i am using this tool at the moment (only VAG cars) www.ross-tech.com

I used Ross-Tech (one of its first versions) when I had my Audi. If you want to have similar functionality with your Disco - changing various settings and reading and clearing non-generic OBD codes, I'm afraid you won't find anything less expensive than MSV-2.
If you can do without changing settings and only want to read/clear LR-specific codes, Blackbox Soplutions now has a less expensive alternative, called FCR.
