Device Error when connectiong via USB or 30-Pin

Ok, tried the obvious ie different i-devices (all work fine in another D4), different cable between i- device and cubby port but all result in the same, after a long while saying "connecting" it comes up with Device Error.

Anyone else had this and know the fix for it? I got it on the list for next service but it would be handy if I had more info for the dealers ie may get it resolved quicker if I can tell them what to look for Wink

New cubby plug needed, new hardware will cure the issues with lost connection and/or no connection at all.

Mine was faulty and was renewed in warranty.

Check first with another d4 cubby plug, no more than 10 seconds and a flat screwdriver to pry it out to check it. Thumbs Up

(Yours and mine seems to be linked, they are showing same fau.... "behaviour" along time Laughing)

Rolling with laughter they were probably on the production line together.

Yes the connector block in the cubby was my thought but I don't have any tools with me when I swapped leads and devices before. Cheers.
