Now these DO what I'm looking for, but they don't stock my part & I think would extrude specifically for my quantity, which would make it bloomin' expensive!!
In their online manual,page 43
http://catalogues.kellysearch.com/catalogu...3&cn=1
it's IRS 1048 I think. I did ask them if they could let me know when they last sold some & who to, but they say they don't have the records to tell me when they last sold some.
So, a final call out, using ALL the might of the DISCO3 community, can anyone help any further as I seem to have arrived at a dead end....
I'm after 2 x 2m lengths...
Ian, what does this seal fit to / seal against?I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

It fits in a channel at the bottom o fthe Sankey door and seals onto the trailer to stop water getting in. At the moment, there's a 20mm gap between the bottom of the door and the side of the trailer.
You can just about see the channel in this pic which has some of the old rubber in it still.
Might be a radical suggestion, but have you found anything that's vaguely close where you could reingineer the channel or find another method of fitment such as the plastic push-studs so beloved of Disco3 trim designers? If the mountain won't come to MoBodsy......
Just a thought.I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Thanks Mike, I've found the self adhesive one available, but I'm concerned about how strong it would be, given that it won't be fully stuck on due to the channel it will sit against.
I've also considered self adhesive D strip as well, but would prefer if possible for the direct replacement as it's considerably stronger.
It's also worth considering if there's anyone on here still with good links in Army Stores, if they can get some whipped off an existing Sankey before they get sold off Bodsys Brake Bible

I've been looking at the other 'close but no cigar' options as well, but time is dramatically against me at the moment in order to get any engineering mods completed.
I go away with it 7.30 am Saturday morning with the Scouts for a week, then go away to france with it 4 days after I come back from that.... Bodsys Brake Bible
