Default sat nav screen

I can't imagine that this hasn't been raised before, but I did a search and couldn't find anything....

Is it possible to set the sat nav screen so that it defaults to blank screen on start up?

According to the Introduction section of the Nav handbook for the 2007, yes.
“System Settings”, touch the screen OFF icon. To turn on again touch any part of the screen again.

Actually you can but once you start up again you have to switch it off manually, that's my point. '05 LR3 HSE V8 - Adriatic Blue - Larini Exhaust System - Lamp Guards - Dual battery system - Hidden 12k winch - Rasta Sump Guard
