Went past James Edwards St Helens today and it is in closing down mode with signs up offering deals on vehicles but only showroom seemed to have any activity looked like everything else has already closed"Never keep up with the Joneses. Drag'em down to your level. It's cheaper".

I called them last week to arrange a new vehicle or good second hand one, they didn't want to sell me one because they said my disco has a private plate!!! Steve

What sort of excuse is that That's like saying they will not sell you a car because you are wearing a hat.
I thought they were in the business of SELLING cars... maybe that's why the may or may not be closing down!!As you slide down the banister of life

it may be because they know there is a stupid f***ing ridiculous third-world-type delay in swapping plates over
I STILL don't have the V5C back for my Blue D3 yet though BCA have kindly said today that they'll take it away without the V5C as long as I post it to them when it finds its way by pidgeon bl**dy post from those t***ers in Swansea Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)
On the bright side, it only took them 4 days to send the paperwork when we applied to use our plate which was held on retention.
JE Chester used to arrange the transfer of plates on your behalf a few years ago.As you slide down the banister of life
