Dealer Rant...Latest!!!!!! |
|
Ok guys, what the best way of having a rant at my dealer. I'm fed up with my problems see (Don't worry....all that might happen is airbag won't go off.) post. Its booked in for Tuesday but my plan is to throw the keys at them tomorrow morning and tell them to sort it once and for all by Wednesday afternoon or they can keep it. If I have to take a courtesy car over xmas I want a D3 SE or equivelent and they can service it for free for my troubles.
What action would you take? I'm certainly not prepared to take my family and friends away in it over xmas and new year with the possibility of the airbags not working.

You tell em young chappie !
And have them sort this out... also remind them they could use one of their own as a donor car for parts to get you going over Christmas
It is the season of goodwill to all men and women of course (if your confused by which Ally / Allie your replying too )!

Spoke to the dealer last night and they've order some parts for it which should be fitted today. However they also need some other parts that requires Landrovers approval and this is the hold up. Why would they need approval?

Probably some legal requirement around the airbag and its habit of exploding - or not in your case

Well just been told my compressor's gone, apparentley it struggles to inflate suspension and thats whats causing my suspension fault. Also my head unit is faultly as well. Suprise suprise the parts are out of stock. I've to phone back tomorrow and see if they've had any update on the parts avaiability. Guess who's not going home for Christmas as they also have no D3 loan cars.

Well one of the sales guys will have to give up their own D3 for Christmas. You could always try that in an argument.

They have a RRS supercharged 1st edition in their used section, I suppose I could make that do.
Spoke to LR customer service and they were helpful. Said they could hurry the parts and if unsuccessful they'd get me a hire car.
