Hello everyone,
I have the cash ready it’s just a case of getting the right price, or even getting a response from a LR dealer. I have sent 15 e-mails to various dealers in what I would call the north of England, detailing my requirements. In a week only 4 have bothered to reply. The polite ones even replied within 48 Hours. So 10/10 for customer service to them!!
What I can’t understand Is why the other 11 have not replied ?
The e-mails have all been delivered and not bounced back, no delivery failures here!
This being the initial point of contact they get 0/10 so far for customer care.
Do they really think I’ll chase them up? Are they really bothered if they sell another car ever??? They must be so busy that they can’t even get to the computer and check their mail! Maybe they have a difficulty with new technology? which doesn't look good if the disco goes wrong.
If this is how they treat their potential leads how do they treat their existing customer base.
They obviously won’t get my business, but he who replies will.
Anyone else tried to buy and found the task difficult

i would expect that many dealers think that you are not a serious buyer if you don't show more effort than writing an e-mail.....

If you are intending to order one so that it will be ready for when you come back to good old Blighty, then may I suggest you speak to Ryan at Lakeland Land Rover (Site Sponsor).
Not dealt with him personally but I'm sure that someone will be along shortly who has!
