Date reset won't hold . . . . |
|
Have just fitted a new battery to my truck. I've reset the clock time, and that seems to hold OK, but whenever I set the date it defaults to 31 Dec of whatever year I've set it to. Any ideas?
A previous owner has done the hack to set the display to RRS mode, and I wonder if this has anything to do with it?
Thanks.

Yup, that's it. Someone has cut the centre wire leading to the back of the unit, so it now shows the 4x4 info, 'phone setup etc RR displays that weren't showing on the original D3 installation. In my book, that's a hack. Anyway guys, ideas on why the time holds but the date don't?
