Dash mat
Ok let me explain. I have just got my new to me d4 and have been having a good play around in the cabin. Just above the top glovebox is a open flat area that the passenger in the dashboard that you could keep your keys ect on.
Should there be a thin rubber mat in there?I have something to say! It's better to burn out... than to fade away!

Oh, I would have thought it would have dad one to stop the base getting scratched. I'm sure my D3 had one in thereI have something to say! It's better to burn out... than to fade away!

Yes my D3 had one as well,but the Landmark hasn't,I think Ronp made one for his Www.devonchilliman.co.uk

Every D4 I have had DID have a rubber mat there Kergan. Maybe the exclusive Landmarks didn't have them to mark their exclusivity My17 Volvo XC90 Inscription

Well my D4 has no mat above the glovebox and neither did my D3. What my D3 did have was a moulded textured surface with with 2 distinct asymmetric areas. My D4 has the slippery plain bit of plastic as described earlier.
If someone does genuinely have a rubber mat in this location I would be grateful for a picture and, if possible, a part number.
