Basically locate the thin red wire with brown stripe at the headlight switch. (terminal 58D)
Leaving plenty of room to connect at both ends, cut it and bare the ends.
Crimp the red bullet connectors to the wires.
Put the female end onto to the wire that goes to the switch connector
Put the bare male end to the wire that goes to the loom/car
Take the bulb holder and crimp a male bullet to one wire
and female to other wire.
(can do this before taking the car apart)
Connect the bulb holder upto the car (Red/browN wire), so the bulb holder is in the loop (series)
Fit a 21W bulb to the bulb holder.
Check to see if the dash lights still work.
The 21W bulb should only shine brightly if a fault (short) is present
Push the bulb holder well inside the dash and refit switch surround to dash
Should there be a fault at night, maybe the 21W bulb will light up the footwell/pedal area
