Im afraid im the opposite.
I dont like the tailgate. The rear looks odd to me.
It all seems.....to sterilised. More like a piece of fine mahogany (the D3/4) which has been sanded just a bit too much, and all the nice edges are now all rounded.
But then, im one person in billions!

Are you serious? Nearly everybody i know, even in the forum, was shocked when they saw the D5 for the first time. That was our honest and impartial opinion then...
We all agreed that the back was awfull! Some people are now getting used to the look and some buyers are trying very hard to convince themselves it's a stunner but the truth is that it's still an odd looking car.
Some even want to buy it in black just to "camouflage" the C pillar to make it look nicer.
I'm not saying it's a bad car which is certainly not. But come on guys, the proportions are not right...you have to be blind not to see it.
In my opinion, a few changes could make the D5 stunning. People keep saying that the back is awfull. For me the problem is more at the front; the bonnet is too "slim" like it came from another average sized car. It should be more muscular to make the whole thing more proportionate.
That's why a D5 with 22" wheels looks immediately more attactive!
Happy driving...
